How to Write a Curriculum Vitae
The Curriculum Vitae is a document containing information relating to your identity, training, and knowledge in terms of know-how and skills. This document describes your educational and professional pathways.
The purpose of the Curriculum Vitae is to highlight a number of values in preparation for a future interview. The Curriculum Vitae may be divided into four main parts:
- Identification (marital status and family status):
This includes your full name, date and place of birth, marital status, full address with contact (phone, PO Box, E-mail). It is also important to mention the address of a person to contact in case of need.
- Training:
In this part you should present:
– Your academic, technical and vocational training. (Start with the highest and most recent qualifications specifying the year of graduation and institutions attended).
– Professional internships
- Professional experience.
The presentation warrants that we move from the most recent (latest experience) to the oldest. Also mention the names of companies or institutions in which you have worked while specifying the date of entry and exit. For each of the companies or institutions, specify the title of the duty post and the related assignments.
- Miscellaneous:
